Food Donation to Food Friends Action

It is glad that Pinewood Store could support HK society and contribute to environment by food donation of our AXA Muesli to cooperate with Food Friends Action, who collected hundreds of well-packed Muesli from our warehouse on March 2022 and deliver to families in need in the district, so as to make good use of food and reduce food disposal in landfills and waste.. 

The "Food Friend Action" Food Recycling Assistance Scheme started in Sham Shui Po District in April 2011 and expanded to Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon City and Tuen Mun districts in 2013. It was further extended to Yau Tsim Mong District in 2014.

The service also includes establishing a mutual support network for the elderly, individuals and families, so that they can keep in touch with people from different walks of life and deeply appreciate the care of the community.
